Community Service
On Saturday April 21, I volunteered at Beach Cites Interfaith Services in Huntington Beach. Beach Cities Interfaith Services is run by the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. Other churches in the county also make donations, and also private citizens. I donated pasta sauce, canned chicken, children's books, and all purpose cleaner. We volunteers were given a choice of jobs including, cleaning up chairs, cleaning windows , sweeping the floors, pulling up weeds in the parking lot, putting together hygiene packets , and putting together food packets. I volunteered to put together food packets which consisted of bottled water, a canned protein, apple sauce, a bag of chips, a granola bar, and a spoon.
